dear internet,

I've run out of gift ideas that I haven't given a billion times before. Would you be annoyed if one of your loved ones gave you a magazine subscription as your Christmas/Hanukkah/birthday/whatever present?

    I think a magazine subscription is a great idea, just remember to bear in mind what the person's, to whom you are giving the gift, interests are, so that it is a magazine subscription they like. If you are going generic , though, 'National Geographic' or 'The Smithsonian' are good choices.
