dear internet,

i read an article in macleans saying 20% of ppl believe their SO (significant other) is 10 out of 10 in bed, while only 10% believe themselves to be a 10 out of 10 in bed (these are canadian couples, intended to fill out as a national sample).

what do you think this means?

Clearly, it means a fundemental breakdown in relationship communication: at least 10% of people are not telling their SO's that they are perfect in bed.

It means that people compare themselves to sexual icons they believe to be 10 out of 10, while in fact they are perfect for their SO's.

It doesn't mean anything about relationships, just that people are modest about their sexual prowess when being interviewed.

Lots of people suck in bed, and overestimate their SO's skills, so these polls don't surprise me.
