re: to book or not to book by inafish

dear internet,

a good friend who has broken off contact (due to changes in her life, no hard feelings) a while ago has requested me as a friend on facebook. I'm not registered and I have the following reservations:

1. I'm not very much into the whole web 2.0 thing. I also value my privacy.
2. I'm afraid I would not have the time to take proper care of the account.
3. I know next to nothing about facebook.
4. I know two other communities where I'd rather register if I thought I had the time.

Still, it thrilled me that my friend got in touch with me.

Should I register, just as a favour to her, and see what happens next?
