dear internet,

does anyone's nose also start itching at dawn, waking you up? mine does it without fail as soon as the sky starts to get light, and i wake myself up rubbing it. it's the inside of the nose, not the outside, that itches...

    Does light hit your face? It could be that. They've proven that sunlight causes sneezing. Maybe it's the tingle of your nose without you actually doing it, since you're asleep.

    You may be mildly dehydrated. Drink some water during the night, or get thicker blinds.

    My son used to sneeze when he walked out into the sunlight. I'm told it;'s not unusual.

    My nose currently itches most of the time anyway. I'll get myself tested for allergies soon, but I guess it's mostly the dry air from the heating.
