Dear internet,

My apartmentmate invited her boyfriend over to stay at our apartment for ten days (and nights) (of hot monkey sex) without informing me first. Appropriate?

One day or a weekend, maybe. Ten days? Too much. (14 votes)

Well, she should have told you first, but I don't see what the problem is. (3 votes)

I would say that she could have him over for one or two nights without checking with you, but for ten days she definitely needs to make sure that it's ok with you. Not sure how the hot monkey sex is relevant though, surely it's her business what she gets up to (legally!) in her own room.

i do agree, that if she has her own room she can have her own guests, though ten days is rather excessive as he will be sharing the common areas with you and all... that of course also depends on where he usually lives. if he is from far away, she may not have much of a choice. if he is from down the street, its rather rude.

monkey-sex might be legal in her room :0) but as she is sharing an apartment with you, I think you can expect some respect and consideration from her. 10 days in a row is pretty tough. And she should definitely talk to you first - even if it is only a weekend, just so you know it's going to happen. And 10days only with proper consent. but that's my 5cent, and I'm weird...

Oh, you might want to fight back:
